Leucos has been selected to represent at the Expo in Shanghai
Leucos has been selected to represent at the Expo in Shanghai the handcraft and tradition of the artistic glass making, a thousand-year-old art and inestimable heritage of the city of Venice.
Thanks to the collaboration with Confindustria di Venezia, the Industry Association of Venice Province, that has actively cooperated for the participation of the venetian company, in Shanghai there will be exposed two of the more representative products: Rio and Goccia are table lamps completely manufactured in hand-made blown glass.
These products, exhibited next to others chosen to represent different commodities ( food processing, artistic fabric, mechanical) will be positioned inside valuable cases realized with the aim of underlining their value and their peculiarity; the exhibition is organized inside the Zone C Pav II Urban best practise city of Venice.
Expo 2010 in Shanghai interprets the theme of the city in the 21st century also focusing on "Better city, Better life" and will last until 31st of October; it endeavours to attract about 70 millions visitors from home and abroad and 200 nations and international organizations. Participants will display urban civilisation to the full extent, exchange their experiences of urban development, disseminate advanced notions on cities and explore new approaches to human habitat, lifestyle and working conditions in the new century.
